Portal 2: Coquille

The Coquille Portal (2019) is one of three installations along the surveyed route and a physical protest of the proposed Pacific Connector Pipeline planned to move fracked gas from Canada to the coast for export to Asia. These are architectural installations for nutrient cycling in building, for purposeful lifespans, for multi species sheltering, for growth, decay, and biodiversity, and for a view of the past/future for these living places that are threatened by fossil fuel development.
